AT  Vessels

Conceived as textile pottery,  the “AT Vessels” are an invitation to reflect upon form and matter. They muse on the power of the image, which remains in our memory irrespective of the material with which the piece is made.

The “AT Vessels” claim the use of a humble material and a simple process. At the same time, they explore their potentials. With a single repeated stitch and subtle hand gestures, the pieces are being molded in a process that reminds us of the ceramic coil technique. By joining the rope, the thread leaves its trace, creating a texture on the vessel´s surface.
